VERLON privacy
The AI requests from your installation run via the VERLON server and are deducted from your credit. No subscription, no expiry. Each request is billed at what it cost with the provider, plus a fixed mark-up — and you see every amount in the console.
The simplest way is to top up directly in the console: click Credit at the top right.
This page is for when you are not at your computer. The
credit key is shown in the console under Credit and in the file
.guthaben-key in the VERLON folder.
The mark-up covers operation, detection and the risk of us advancing the provider costs. A short question to Sonnet typically costs one to three centimes.
Nothing is charged below this — even the smallest request involves effort.
With your own Anthropic or OpenAI key in the .env, everything runs
directly through your provider account. The credit display then disappears.
